Day 1: Arrive Anchorage
A transfer from Anchorage International Airport to Hotel Captain Cook is included. Join us for a welcome reception and dinner.

Day 2: Anchorage / Flightseeing / Trapper Creek
Learn about Alaska’s indigenous cultures at the Anchorage Museum before taking a scenic private flight to Talkeetna. Drive to Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge in Trapper Creek for a two-night stay amidst inspirational mountain views.
Overnight: Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, Trapper Creek

Day 3: Homestead Visit / Jet Boat Cruise
Visit the private Trapper Creek homestead of Joanne Porterfield; her family’s gardens and farm have flourished here in the shadow of Mount McKinley for decades. Take a jet boat cruise through the wilderness, where you may see bald eagles.
Overnight: Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, Trapper Creek

Day 4: To Denali by Rail / Sled Dog Experience
Following a rail journey to Denali National Park, meet Alaskan sled dogs at Husky Homestead, run by Iditarod champion musher Jeff King and his family. Dine from a selection of restaurants at Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge tonight.

Day 5: Explore Denali National Park
Rise early to look for moose, grizzly bears and other wildlife on a Tundra Wilderness Tour in Denali National Park with a park guide, followed by some leisure time. A "Music of Denali" dinner show tonight reveals park history through songs.

Day 6: Across the Alaskan Wilderness
Depart Denali and make your way through the mountain landscapes of the Alaska Range to your lodge near the Copper River overlooking Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

Day 7: “North America's Mountain Kingdom”
Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is home to more glaciers and 16,000-foot-plus peaks than anyplace on the continent; take a private tour of its visitor center with a park ranger, and return to your lodge for time spent as you please.

Day 8: Prince William Sound / Embark Cruise
Stop at Worthington Glacier en route to Valdez; cross Prince William Sound by private boat to Whittier, where you’ll board your Princess ship for your 7-night Alaska cruise.

Day 9: Day at Sea – Hubbard Glacier

Day 15: Disembark Vancouver / Fly Home
