Tour begins: 6:00 PM, Radisson Blu Astorija Hotel.A transfer is included from Vilnius Airport to the Radisson Blu Astorija Hotel. Meet your fellow travelers at our welcome dinner tonight.

Day 2: The Heart of Old Town Vilnius
Experience a living museum of Baroque architecture on a walking tour of Vilnius’ Old Town. See the 16th-century, Renaissance-style Gates of Dawn and Cathedral Square; venture off-the-beaten track to medieval Trakai for lunch and a tour of its ancient castle with a local guide.

Day 3: Travel the Yellow Roads to Latvia
Journey to the culturally rich country of Latvia along the Yellow Roads through pristine countryside, stopping in seaside Jurmala en route to the capital, Riga. Visit Riga’s opulent 19th-century Opera House, reconstructed in the 1990s. Your hotel is set in the heart of the old city.

Day 4: Discover Historic Riga
Drive through Riga’s Art-Nouveau New Town en route to a walking tour of Riga Market and Old Town. See Riga Castle, the Swedish Gate and the Three Brothers Medieval Dwelling Houses. Those who wish may explore somber reminders of the tragic years of the Holocaust at the Jewish Museum and old Jewish Cemetery (holidays permitting).

Day 5: Medieval Tallinn, Capital of Estonia
Cross the border into Estonia this morning and drive to the seaside city of Parnu for lunch. Arrive mid-afternoon in Tallinn, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved medieval town. join our local guide for a walking tour of the lower city. Dine à la carte this evening at the elegant Gloria, one of Tallinn’s most acclaimed restaurants.

Day 6: Ferry to Finland / Sights of Helsinki
Visit 13th-century Toompea Castle (home to the Estonian Parliament) and bustling Market Square before a cruise aboard a high-speed ferry to Helsinki, Finland’s capital, showcasing the city’s range of diverse architectural styles. Join us for a Helsinki sightseeing tour on which you’ll view the lovely Neoclassical Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral, and the colorful Market Square; you'll also visit the 1960s-era Temppeliaukio (“Rock”) Church, and see the Sibelius Monument and Finlandia Hall.

Day 7: Train to St. Petersburg
Board a fast train for glorious St. Petersburg and a four-night stay at the Grand Hotel Europe, itself a historic landmark on Nevsky Prospekt in the heart of the city. An afternoon orientation tour includes a visit to the imposing Peter and Paul Fortress and its adjacent Cathedral, burial place of the czars.

Day 8: Peterhof / High Tea / Russian Ballet

Day 11: Fly to Moscow and visit Stalin's bunker

By special permission, Tauck has arranged an exclusive visit to Stalin’s hidden World War II bunker; relive history in the central command room, see his personal effects in his private office, and have lunch.

Day 12: Visit the Incomparable Kremlin

Day 13: Red Square and Moscow Underground

Please join us for tonight’s festive farewell reception and dinner.
